BEST TIPS FOR LENS CARE - PLEASE READ!
ALL Chutts sunglasses are built with supreme anti-glare properties. All below points relate to ALL styles but please pay particular attention if you have POLARISED lenses.
Polarisation is a coating which reduces glare filtering through the lens. There are a few steps you need to take to extend the life of your lenses and reduce the chances of delamination of this coating over time.
1. DON'T LEAVE THEM IN THE CAR
If left in extreme heat, the polarised coating on the lens can delaminate. Dashboards are a major culprit. When you're not wearing your frames, pop them back into their cushioned case and protect them from extreme temperatures.
2. SALT AND CHLORINATED WATER
We know you want to wear your Chutts frames at the beach but please be mindful of contact with salt water. As the water dries, salt crystals remain on the lenses which can scratch them and degrade blue light, light-reactive and anti-glare coatings. If they come into contact with salt or chlorinated water, rinse with clean, fresh water and dry with a microfibre cloth.
4. REGULAR CLEANING
Throughout the day, you may notice that your lenses have built up fingerprints, grime or the oils from your hair. Use your microfibre cloth in circular motions over the lenses. Using your t-shirt or sleeve might feel like the easiest and fastest way to dry or clean them but this could cause scratches on the lenses due to small dust particles, sand or debris in the fabric. If worn often, it is a good idea to get into the habit of rinsing your lenses with fresh water and using your microfibre cloth to dry.
We hope you love your Chutts frames and being mindful of these points will allow you to love them for longer!

Easy Fit Adjustments
Easy Fit Adjustments
As each of you is unique, you may find the frames are a little too tight or a tad loose. As they are 100% acetate, they can be adjusted to fit at home.
1. Fill jug or deep mug with 4 parts boiling water to 1 part cold water. (Deep enough to dip 3/4 of the arms of the eyewear into the water).
2. Dip both sunglass arms 3/4 way into the water and hold for 15 seconds.
3. Take out and bend sunglasses to shape.
(for a looser fit, pull arms away from one another - hold for 15 seconds).
(for a tighter fit, bend arms towards one another - hold for 15 seconds).
Sit them down on a table to ensure both tips touch the surface. This will ensure the frame is not twisted.
5. The end tips of the frames can also be adjusted as per above if they curve too sharply behind the head or if they don't curve enough.
6. This can be repeated until desired fit is achieved.
